The claim is that this product lasts for 24 hours. While it definitely is long wearing, 24 hours might be a bit of a stretch unless you spend the entire time just sitting pretty, but I don't mind because I think this is one of the best longwearing drugstore products available. The product is designed to stay without caking, fading, feathering, and transferring. In my opinion they have succeeded. When the directions are followed and the product is applied thinly to the lips and allowed a few minutes to dry completely before applying the conditioning balm it does not transfer at all. If it were going to transfer you would be able to see it on the conditioning balm in the above photo as the balm was applied to the lips as instructed after the color was applied and allowed to dry. Because the product is recommended to be removed with an oil-based make-up remover, as long as you stay away from other oil-based lip products and greasy foods, you will find that this product will last the entire day, particularly if the conditioning balm is reapplied as needed. A benefit to this product is that it does not stain the lips or dry them out the way a lip stain often does, and the conditioning balm helps to keep the lips feeling moist and refreshed throughout the day. I should also mention that the color itself is applied very simply with a longer flexible doe foot applicator. With 30 colors to choose from at a suggested retail price of $9.99 it is leading the drugstore market in longwearing lip color in my opinion. While these products were sent to me for review I was able to find them online and at my local grocery store priced under $8. Not too shabby! Not shabby at all.
